I’ve just been for a walk around my garden I was planning a working morning but got sidetracked for a while

Forsythai intermedia ‘Spectabilis’

Prunus incisa ‘Kojo-no-mai’ pretty delicate-looking deciduous shrub with wiry twigs that burst into life in late winter and early spring when the crimson buds open to display pale pink flowers. The young leaves are long and pale green, growing darker, It’s one of my favourites.

Snake’s head fritillary

Primrose

Pulmonaria ‘Mary and Joseph’

Magnolia’Sulangiana’ fighting it’s way through Escallonia in the long border.

Gazania doing well!

Carrot growing in drain pipe

Nasturtium ready to pot on.

Lots happening in my garden now I must do some work!

A wonderful blogSue We had rain today with gales but there was a red sky when i came back from the shops at 6.30pm so I have my fingers crossed that I can actually get out and do some work tomorrow. Our forsythia have a way to go yet but like everything else this year you just have to blink and something else is right there.

Well there's lots springing to life in your garden now ... the forsythia is just so beautiful as well as those prunus blooms and the primroses. Love the idea for growing the carrots ... brilliant man! I wish my seedlings looked something like yours ... not to be! Those gazanias are doing so well ... one of my favourite garden plants! Well keep on enjoying your springtime!
