People near where I lived had a garden full of them. They were a fantastic sight. But it was many years ago and they grew them in straight rows lol

Thank you for all your kind comments I will pass them on to Nick.~ Louise our field is planted in rows it looks fab when its out in full bloom I will put some more photos on soon, still lots in bud :0( I hope they open soon we have an open day next bank holiday for NGS!!

My neighbour's garden looked very colourful - a garden full of dahlias. You couldn't really notic the straight rows. Anyway everybody around us grew everything in rows in those days. Our garden was the same. ( My father's garden I mean )
