When will all this rain stop? I don’t know about you but I’ve had enough. I count myself lucky here we have not had as much rain as some areas but it’s got beyond a joke now.

My veg garden is suffering half the seed I planted have not germinated and those that have are very weak. The flowers are very small this summer to.

I had one beautiful pink peony flower but before I got a chance to take a photo the rain and wind smashed it to bits. Are you finding the same or is it just me? The only thing flourishing is the bindweed!

The Dahlia flowers are very small

We have been busy replacing the bottom fence. It’s one of those jobs you just know will be trouble and it was. But worth the end result I’m sure you’ll agree. Just have to decide on what to plant in the empty bed.
Any suggestions welcome. It’s a very dry south facing spot soil pH 7 neutral.

I had to stand some pot on the bed it looked naked!

Pamg ~ The weeds are fighting back already so I have to plant something and it slopes so pot's fall over in the wind! Mediterranean sounds nice....Uuummmm!

Dear TT ~ Thank you my sweet. :0)

Sanbaz ~ With all the horticultral training and exams I have passed you'd think I would have a clue what to do ...Ha...No! :0)

Motinot~ Thank you, the Dahlias are very poor this year nowhere as strong as last years.

Fencing looks great Sue, my dahlias although flowering are very spindly, everything has gone a bit wild this year with all the grey, wet days, I think they are all going upwards looking for the sunlight, lol...
Lovely pics Sue..
