Hasn`t She Done Well!!!!!!!

This is Holboellia Coriacea, a tender evergreen climber that I planted against the kitchen wall May last year.

As you can see she has done well in her first year which has been thankfully rather mild.

Her flowers as you can see in this photo are rather delicate and small but they have a lovely strong perfume.

Another new Clematis Montana `Freda` to brighten up the bottom of the garden this one has quite nice bronze folliage.

I`m also pleased with how the rockery and stumpery are coming on alongside the pond.

There is a small Tamarix tetandra just showing its buds ready to burst into fluffy pink panicles, this I planted last August and can`t wait for it to get a decent size.

With all the rain over the last few days and hopefully the promised sunshine to come things should all start to come together and we can sit out and enjoy, which is what I`m looking forward to especially as my niece and her OH are making a visit from Australia at the end of this month, I last saw her when I visited my mom and sister in Darwin in 1980 so there will be a lot of catching up to do.

Enjoy your gardening week.

How exciting, there certainly will be lots to catch up on. I do hope the weather is good for their visit.
Your garden is looking wonderful as ever Stroller. I think most of us have a wee tender beauty or three that has surpassed themselves. Your climber certainly like that spot you've chosen for it.
