MISSION ACCOMPLISHED part two,

after resiting the filter and completing the alteration to right hand side of the top garden which I showed in the first blog . I then started on the Left hand side by removing the small rockery and taking the larger bed back a bit, I then re slabbed under the arch and I am glad to say that the left side is now complete as you can see from the following pictures, I feel that it has opened out and made for less work in this top half, as you can see in pic 4 and 5.

Right thats the top half of the garden sorted so now to a bit of re-organising once you go through the archway. Pictures 1 and 2 are taken from the side and looking up through the arch before work started. First job was to resite the flower cart into the front garden, the green fencing was removed completely from down the one side. I used old rocks to mark out the new smaller bed and relaid the steps, gravel was then put down, see pic 3

The next three pics are giving a side on view the top of the steps and the overall view of the completed project.

I finally completed it today in the rain (I must be mad) and was glad to get in and under a warm shower. OH said no more projects this year ~ what on earth am I going to do.lol.
Rather a long blog, but thanks for looking.Oh forgot to say that that is a small cutting that I took from my Ballerina rose back in Feb this year planted at the end of the bed.

Well, I'm really impressed! Haven't you worked hard. It all looks lovely. I had to put it in my favourites so that I could look at it again.I know exactly what you mean about new projects. I'm never happy unless I'm doing one!

It looks really lovely stroller, well done you. I'm out of projects at the moment, all the big jobs have been done.
Like you I'm thinking "what am I going to do now"?
Just the basic weeding and mowing the lawn I guess. ....and wait till spring!!!

I have got out the knitting again, that is always a sign that the cold has crept in on me, but today has been a lovely day and the garden has been a big draw, grass cut, small crocus bulbs in and hot chocolate drunk. lol. Oh and filled up all the cleaned out bird feeders with nuts and seed. It is awful when the nights pull in and we cannot get out there and play to our hearts content. Soon be Spring. Off to hibernate by the fire now. lol. with the knitting needles. I shall sit and ponder what project I can get up to whilst clicking with the needles. Happy dreaming and planning GoYers x

Stroller it looks grand, you must be really pleased with the result, carrying on in the rain, now thats dedication or is it determination?? well done, I love it.....

Another great job. ''OH says no more projects'' - my question is this....Will you listen to him? :))))
I don't mind working away outside in the rain - if you have a job to do then it makes it somewhat easier to carry on.
I really love how your whole garden is set up. It all links together and your eyes are drawn to all those little pathways. Superb!!

I love your garden Stroller. It has so much interest and all the nooks and crannies are great. It is definitely my kind of a place for a wander in the peace and quiet. I love your alterations, they have made a great garden even better. Can't wait to see the 'next project' ha ha....we never stop do we? OH's all know that deep down!

Olive its getting to that time again when we shall be spending more of the day indoors rather than out, but as you say it gives us time to ponder and dream.
Rose we can but hope but forecasts predict high winds and biting cold.
Lincs I think it was determination, I wanted to get it finished as I have an idea to use the bird table to put a bust of a lady on, I think it would look good as looking down the garden from the patio it would be peaking between the rose and the lilac tree, just got to find one I like at a reasonable price.
Scottish ... I definitely listen to him, but very rarely heed his advise.lol. I would dearly love to make the pond bigger but fear that it would be a step to far, I would be afraid of losing the 9 quite large fish, dont think OH would forgive me for that.
Karen its looking at your blogs that has given me lots of inspiration and more particularly confidence to try out new things and not be afraid to move things around, for which I give you my thanks.
To Willi ... don`t know about classy but you can see I`m better at this than modelling cars.lol.

Thanks to all for your kind comments, Oh and btw Snoopy women unlike most men don`t mind asking for directions !!! said with tongue in cheek.

Thank you Stroller, very king. I get most of my ideas from other members on here Stroller. My garden has come on in leaps and bounds since joining I think. It's better than a garden magazine by far!

Isn`t it just Karen, and so much cheaper. I`ve just been drooling over DD`s latest project ~ such clever folks to take inspiration from.
