Scissor happy or more aptly happy shears,

We had one of those lovely gardening days to day, the weather was warm and sunny and I was raring to go.
Since my first adventure into topiary I have been dying to do something a little more adventurous and there was this Euonymus just by the shed and me with my shears in my hand and so ….
Here`s the result then a bit drastic, but I quite like it.

This is the close up a bit untidy round the base but it was grown up the trunk of an old Leylandi that was cut down years ago.

.
Much better than how it was in this old photo, sorry its a bit blurred.

It also made my day to see that the Passion Flower I planted last June was in flower,
Passion flower “Constance Elliott” …

Well today has got rid of some of the pent up frustration lets just hope its been one of more better days to come.

That looks brilliant Stroller. It looks like its all one plant. I would never have thought of doing that. I don't know if you remember my attempt at shaping a box last year. It was an absolute disaster, but has grown back now, thank goodness!
