spoiling the show, the pesky things are munching away and thriving on my `Aloha rose`.

but thank goodness `Dublin bay` seems to have escaped attention.

and the clematis `Rebecca and honeysuckle `sweet scentsation` are coming on a treat.

This is an overall effect of the top bed.

Im blogging as the rain has started to come down in ernest giving the garden a much needed drink.
Happy gardening all.

Your Garden is looking lovely Stroller, its a shame about the Aphids its all this hot weather gives them a big appetite, love the Dublin Rose and the Clematis and Honeysuckle, at least they are not being eaten away!
I hate to say it but Im dying for a shower or two its such hard work watering everything each day, [only want a little rain preferably in the evenings lol]

Gorgeous garden Stroller, battling with the little green bug is never easy, have you tried 'Bug Clear'? I had loads of big fat juicy ones on my Lupins but it cleared them and no signs yet of them returning.
It clouded over here earlier, but no signs of the rain yet and we could do with it, butts are empty and garden a bit dry too.

I was going to advise you to plant lavender near them Stroller, lol, somehow I don`t think it works with wooden pests.

Your garden looks lovely as ever, but I'm sorry to hear about your aphids. I hope some ladybirds will come there soon and have a nice feed on them :o)

Stroller, it's looking even better than when I saw it, lovely. Now, as to your little rose problem ... I've seen this pest before and recommend a biological remedy in much the same way we use nemotodes for vine weevil etc, I would use woodworm! You better now?:-)

Raining here since I got up (6.30) just steady.....is tarragon supposed to grow 3feet high......its swamping the herb trough even ousting the mint!

31 May, 2012

Ousting the mint?? are you sure it's tarragon?? I need some in that case as I can't eradicate my mint entirely. it keeps popping up :-)

So does mine Ba trouble is its in the wrong place. Yes better from the throat infection but having probs with gall stones - Terry reckons its time to have me put down, says I`m a crotchety old biddy cause I can`t do much. Perhaps I oughta set one of these aphids on him.lol.
