I'm glad its raining

well its about time it rained, i know lots of you would prefer the sun, but the planet has to live, and so do the plants.
I had to smile when a couple of customers were walking around this morning in the rain and moaned about the bad weather, tis nothing but a tempory blip in the weather said i, hoping to make em feel better about being in the garden centre.
It is a fact, if customers come to the garden centre while its raining they would sooner call back another day and have a fresh look around rather than buy any plants while they are there that day, is that right??
My mushrooms seem to be going down ok at work, for these that dont know i hand turned some wooden mushrooms and took them into my garden centre to display with the pens i make, i now have a couple of orders for them, i am really pleased about it too.
Just watched the weather and it looks like more of the same for tomorow, i really dont it raining, just so long as it knows when to stop…

Still waiting for it here. I did go out and water a few this evening that looked in desperate need so hoping it will rain tonight.

I'm another one guilty of not wanting to walk round a garden centre in the rain, lol. It's no fun getting soaking wet.

I agree with you our garden is as dry as a bone, and we are running out of water for our sarracenias, so we want some NOW please.

Yes, rain is wonderful so refreshing for the gardens. Nothing can do what a good shower can do. And all the dust is settled.
I am sprinkling my garden right now, as we haven't had any rain for 2 weeks, and it started to look pale.

Well, we've certainly had it today. Absolutely zillions of gallons of it. Worst it's been for ages.

Garden is now a bog!!!! lol.

Yes me too as it saves my water bill as I am on a metre, and good luck with your mushrooms and pens
