Training to be a plantscat?

She pulls books out and sits in the space – never attempts to read what she’s taken out though, so not much progress..all she can do at present is dig little holes and fill them in again…

Hi Sue, so you haven't got a well read cat then, just likes to be surrounded by knowlege, ?, Derek.

Ahh.... what a beauty! Cats can have some pretty strange habits, mine are just coming to being one year old and are displaying some interesting behaviour!

A beautiful photo and a beautiful cat. The picture is just like a jigsaw puzzle quality or turned into one of those canvas type pictures for framing!
I see you are just as much a gardening book fanatic as I am, can't bear to part with them, though I have too many.

Thank you everyone.

Derek she's in the right place then - there must be a couple of thousand books at least in this house - only the two downstairs bookcases are mine - OH's are all on shelves in the loft (the ones that aren't on the floor)

Lol Honeysuckle, flattery will get you everywhere!
Why would you want to part with any of them? You never know which one you might need next

You ve spoilt her lol not even Tuna

Ah!! Stera she is gorgeous, so like my daughters in looks and colour except Moggy is a Tomcat, our cats are the same, they can be found sitting or sleeping any place they choose, in a cats opinion a home is to be used by all and nothing is sacred, if the cat fits it will sit, lol....

True. I once did a blog with her sleeping in lots of strange places, including a litter tray and the bath..
But the bookshelf is off limits because she pulls the books off first to make room and can damage them.

No 3d, just her biscuits - at least its quick and easy.

What an intelligent cat :o)

She is, Hywel. She understands Sit Down, and Brush! Never had a cat who would do as it was told even in such a limited way. Mind you, when she has sat down she soon get up again if she didn't want to do it in the first place...

A very pretty girl indeed! Wonder why she insists on sitting on the bookshelf?

Shirley we think she's about 6 - she was adult but young when we were given her.

Green Fingers, who can fathom the mind of a cat....

Plenty of years ahead to re-arrange all those books for you!
