Stan,

You should have told me about this blog a while back in one of my pics. I have so many comments to respond to these days. lol!

Anyway, this tree doesn't look like how a longan typically grows. I could be wrong, though. Do you have any photos with it in full leaf?

Where is this located?

This is at the exotic fruit and tree park in Quarry Lakes in Fremont,by Niles. They have quite a few exotics going there...some are thriving- Avocado,Citrus,Bo tree Ficus,Jacobotinia ( fruiting) and other more middle ground..like Carissa and Mango. The Mango gets no special care other then watering. Makes me want to dump some fertilizers on it.
They have pamphlets with names and numbers...but so many didnt match. It cant be easy trying tropicals that really need a daily eye kept on them. I give them credit for trying.
I have a Ficus macrophylla they said they would take..its just me getting the little beast into my little car thats the problem.

It's funny I've never heard of this place. On my next trip to the SF Bay Area I must go and visit it (not sure when it's going to be, though).
