All the bay area is having a wet December..its raining as I type.
Besides having water again, the other blessing? Its been a winter month that is averaging 10c for a low compared to 5C as our historical average. No need for heating the home- cooking and various appliances seem to be enough.
I never have gone this deep into winter without putting the heater on at least a few times. If January gets colder?,then I guess I’m going to have to throw more holiday parties..wink. That should warm things up.

We are actually having similar weather Stan...here in Wales our winter is behaving so far with warmer than average ten degrees with our normal amount of rain which is usually heavy...

Climate change is not so bad after all. Now if it will only change in the Sahara desert so that it rains on a consistent basis where it will become the cornucopia
of Africa......but wait! With the political mind set as it is now, there will be an all out effort to stop it.

I hope it isn't too wet for you. Most people don't seem to like rain.
I love it :D I don't mind if it rains all winter, because it is usually milder ... and that suits me :o)
Anyway, we're used to it in Wales. It seems to rain most of the time here.

Thanks all. Some stats: San Jose has 740% of a normal December rainfall. To end the three year drought,it would take a square cube of water 11 miles wide and deep holding 12 trillion gallons of water to fill reservoirs and replenish groundwater. OR,eight more storms like this weeks.

I understand its actually been frost free as far north as Amsterdam? Amazing.

To join the chorus: we're having a milder, if more changeable winter than last year here in Eastern Ontario, Canada. just saw your mention of the COLD temps you've been getting. It's been a see-saw. Have also seen the pics of the reservoirs! That's a big worry. Would it be so bad if you got a little more precip? Including you in my yearly raindance.
