Perfectly Pink!

As I am lucky enough to have a large garden, I am able to indulge in creating areas which can include my favourite colour schemes. I enjoy all flowers, but especially purple, mauve and PINK.

So I went round the garden yesterday (before it rained again!) and took some more close-ups of pink blooms.

It is amazing to bend down close to a plant and focus on one bloom. The camera then seems to capture something quite different from my eyes.

The astrantia is a good example. I can look right into it and see all its beauty.

This double anemone again looks so different close up.

And it’s amazing how many shades of pink there are just in my garden – the sweet pea has several all to itself!

The next flower is one bloom from a saponaria – how beautiful is that!

Next time I may focus on another colour – I hope you enjoy my ‘perfectly pink’ flowers! Maybe you could add some more?

No apology for finishing with this french lavender – Already posted in my profile, and enjoyed, but it’s my favourite!

What a fantastic post. I LOVE pink and purple and have to make myself buy plants with different colours in them! Your garden looks a dream. Beautiful photos by the way - just beautiful.
