Hard to say really because there is so many of ME in shades and sides: been there and done most of it, always climbing a mountain, or swinging on some other star, round every corner there’s a different me, and that’s on a day by day basis, no two days are the same, makes for hell-uv-a-life. To day a gardener, tomorrow a mechanic, the day after “who knows” I’ve surprised myself sometimes, at the end of day, when I say “That’s another one over” roll on tomorrow. The trouble with my life is tomorrow always comes, I woke up one morning and found I was married with a mortgage round my neck, and ended up serving a life sentence, but I stayed the course which is more than can be said for some, (if you go ashore with a mate come back with him) “yep a seaman too” and it’s been hell-of-a-trip with the good and the bad, these days I am a professional vacationer spoilt for choice having paid in the past with my time and skills for no charge, now from those passing ships of life’s passage I am repaid with fly here fly there stay here stay there I get the feeling they want me gone, like the contents of a wheelie bin don’t care where you go, just go.
