I've no idea Siris?

the first one looks as if it is a leguminacea going from the pod I can see. clianthus possibly.
the second one looks like a kiwi fruit but the leaves are wrong. so give up siris.

Wrong on both plants Sbg, Have a second go.

Going by the leaves I'd say top one is some kind of Jasmine but the second looks like a crab apple only wrong leaves.

Camelia leaves?

Thorney, the top one has a species name ....jasminoides, but wether its in the Jadminium Genus, I don't know, very scented.
Second, wrong but you can ingest some members of this family.

I would have said camellia for the second one, no idea about the other.

Yes, Thorney and Cinders, the second is a Camellia, 'Donation', to be exact. Tea is derived from the same family. I read that C. williamsii can take as little as 3 years to flower, but shall I bother.

Times up. Yes, you've guessed Camellia, the other is Trachelospermum jasminoides. First time I've ever seen either with seed/fruit.

Terra, You must let us know how you get on with germinating your Trachelospermum seed. I've propergated the Trach... by layering in the past.

Yes, Siris .. I'll keep the seed pods till warmer weather, and then have a try at propagation.
