This morning I went to one of my favourite nurserys, unfortunately forgot to take my camera, Hall Farm near Gainsborough, Janey did a blog not long ago with pictures of their wonderful gardens, but as well as the gardens they have some wonderful sculptures, the foxglove gate is just amazing, after talking to the owner Pam Tatam I learned its her son that makes these wonderful sculptures, fabulous though they are he can’t seem to sell them, she said maybe its because they are so large people haven’t got the room, but what a talented young man, just look at this website and see if you agree.

The gate is wonderful Hywel, Pam said she'd bought it off him at 'Mothers rate',lol, yes no doubt thats why they can't sell them nobody has big gardens these days:-( they'd tryed to sell the mushroom and caterpillar to a garden somewhere with an Alice in Wonderland theme, can't remember name, with no success, shame as think it would be perfect.

I love the foxgloves for gate too :)
This blog reminded me of "The Sculpture Park" in Surrey. The place was loaded with quirky sculptures including the Welsh owner Eddie :))

I have to agree - that foxglove gate is very beautiful and special. Why aren't there any prices or indications of a price on his website? I think it's a bit off-putting to see a request for 'bids' - if you haven't got a clue as to what kind of figure he's after.
