Masses of attractive lilac flower heads from May to October. Ideal for baskets, tubs, or growing over a low wall. More vigorous growth habit than many cutting raised varieties. Trails to 25cm (10"). HHP - Half-hardy perennial. For summer flowering outdoors, sow during December-February at a compost temperature of 22-23°C (72-74°F) for rapid germination. Lower temperatures 18-21°C (65-70°F) may take up to 28 days. Transfer seedlings into seed trays or small pots 16-18°C (60-65°F). Keep in good light. Grow the young plants on in 8.5-10cm (3½-4") pots. After hardening off (exposing gradually to cool conditions) plant outdoors from early June. Varieties offered can also be grown as pot plants. Suggested planting distance 30cm (12"). Flowers July-September. July-September Remove faded flowers to prolong blooming.
