Gooseberry Xenia

Genuinely new gooseberries do not appear very often and this one is a real winner! Originally from Switzerland, Xenia is very high yielding, bearing masses of large 'dessert quality' fruit which are very sweet when ripe in late June. The bushes are upright and almost spine free so picking is easy and plants have resistance to mildew .
