Physalis Alkekengi Franchettii Chinese Lanterns 10 Bareroot Plants

Light up your autumn garden with the glowing lanterns of Physalis. This vigorous, spreading perennial is clad with papery, orange-red calyces that enclose large, bright orange-scarlet berries during early-mid autumn. In June and July the short stems bear small, nodding cream flowers that punctuate the bright green triangular leaves. Excellent for cutting and drying.
