A must for gardening enthusiasts, this rambling climber produces clusters of glorious scarlet flowers (followed by small blue fruits) set off against attractive 5-lobed leaves. Height 1.8-3m (6-10'). HHP - Half hardy perennial. Sow at any time of year (note that germination can be slow and erractic), flowers June-October. June-October Hardy in many areas if given a free-draining soil, spreading underground and forming deep-rooted tubers.
