Rich, scarlet-red. Compact, bushy, green-leaved plants bearing large flowers. Height 20cm (8"). HHA - Half-hardy annual. F1 fibrous rooted (semperflorens) variety. Sow in a temperature of 18-20°C (65-70°F) during January and February and when 1.5cm (½") high prick off the plants into boxes spacing them 6.5-7.5cm (2½-3") apart. Grow on and harden off by degrees prior to planting outdoors, from early June onwards. Suggested planting distance 20cm (8"). Sow January-March, flowers June-September. June-September Pot a few plants up in autumn for colour indoors.
