Did you know that GNOME means Guarding Naturally over Mother Earth?!

I didn’t know this till I heard it on ‘Bargain Hunt’ today!
Tim Wannacot informed us of the meaning when one of the contestants bought a Gnome!!

I don't mind gnomes and I haven't got any, but my mum did have a very appealing stone one years ago, bought in Cornwall (so maybe a Cornish Piskie!!?)

Some of them are hideously hideous though!!!

The one I saw on Bargain Hunt was a reconstituted stone one with a couple of small tubs attached in front of him (not bad)

I can't stand gnomes. I will never buy one.

I have them near my fishpond, both are concrete, I think they work their magic overnight when no-one is watching, lol.....
