NGS open day - novel use of pallets.

Last week we visited an NGS open garden on the Isle of Wight. It had rained heavily the previous week and the owners thought they would have to cancel, until they did this!

It was a beautiful garden, carefully tended by the owners over the past twenty years and certainly worth the visit. If anyone is interested in seeing more of it, I will post a blog.

Yes please - I was wondering where they got all those pallets from? I also thought garden owners weren't allowed to close unless because of a bereavement...that's the case in Somerset, anyway. We soldier on, wet or dry!

At least they didn't let people down did they? What a shame though when they had gone to so much trouble beforehand. Hope you still enjoyed it and are now enjoying the lovely sunshine in your own garden.

A lot better than walking on what could soon have become a muddy trail.
I 'd love to see a blog Shirley but being a very patient nosey group we don't mind waiting....
