Don't mind if I do....very pleasant, thank you. I love the Cornus...and it will only get better.

Wonderful! Enjoy...we've hardly had any Pimms this year because of the cold. I've even started making hearty soups again! But...I did pickle some of my cucumbers today, and they were delicious!

I do love Rozanne! I have three in my blue border and one was struggling, but I took loads of stuff out today so Im hoping it will now get going!

Lovely Sheila. Rozanne deserves her awards, such a gem. Evening stroll through your garden followed by pimms sounds spot on. :)

As usual I'm too late and its much too cold in my own tonight, so I'll sit in my armchair and drink a lager instead, lol, looking nice though Sheila..

It looks beautiful, Sheila, and so tranquil. We too have had some lovely warm evenings here this week.

Warm evenings? What are they then? lol...we have now accepted it is autumn in Scotland! Summer never happened. Grey and wet again. The sun came out briefly yesterday evening and I got my grass cut at last. But gosh, this summer has been a trial for humankind. The plants....they are thriving...not necessarily flowering...but thriving none the less.

Thank you Sue and Susanne :)

Sending sympathy, Karen - it's not fun for you. Good to see you're still keeping cheerful though!

I am very sorry to hear what a washout your summer has been, Karen, though I know from my daughter that it hasn't been brilliant anywhere on Scotland this season. We are off to Cromarty for the first week of September, so I am hoping it will be reasonable, if nothing else! Fingers crossed!

Melchi, I think you have a good chance. September was lovely last year, and often is.

Thank you for the lovely walk, Sheila. Your garden is gorgeous. Pleasing to the eye. Hope your balmy weather stays with you for a while.

Thank you very much, Klahanie. Still pleasant enough here . . supper in the garden this evening :))

You have such a lovely tranquil space, and a size that would suit us perfectly, a lovely garden Sheila.....Pimms for me too, very hot here!!

As it should be in summer time, Sheila. We eat outside on the deck every day. We also have propane heaters there for cooler evenings. (his and hers :-)
I just wish we could get a little bit of rain. We haven't got one in months and big trees starting to suffer.

Thanks Angela . . . another Pimm's this evening . . . have to make the most of these balmy temperatures! Btw, do you have dates yet for your Open Day next year? We're hoping to be staying not too far away from you next summer :)

A lovely garden. It seems so serene and calming in the early evening.

I know it must be the result of such a lot of hard work but it must bring you peace and lots of pleasure.
