The April weather was kind to me today . . .

. . . in spite of the poet saying that “April is the cruellest month”! 12 members of my gardening group were coming for coffee, and I was so relieved that the sun shone, and we were all able to walk round the garden. The daffs were upright(!), the primulas looking good, and best of all the blossom was out on most of the trees.
The weather is all over the place this week, and because rain and lightning were forecast for this afternoon, I decided I’d better capture the scene while the sky was blue, and before the flowers were blown away.

This is the Great White Cherry (Prunus Tai Haku)

Amelanchier

Greengage,

and Plum.

Then I went and thanked my OH for giving me such a perfect little camera!
Thanks for joining me. :))

That was lucky! Glad they were not coming here - rain and more rain. Still, it's doing good.

Lovely trees in blossom there. Hope they see it through the thunderstorm so that you can enjoy them a bit longer.

Lovely photos. Both of us were lucky with the weather this morning. You with your visitors and me with the planting of some perennials. Showery and cool here this afternoon.
My weather satellite picture shows for our region blue skies again tomorrow morning with rain to follow in the afternoon.
