Dig in

Just a quick note i recieved my Dig in seeds this morning!! Had just about given up on them! All can still be planted though so am going to plant the Butternut squash as i’ve never grown squash before i’d like to give it a try, got a corner where i can put the plant and will also give the beetroot a go it says you can put in a pot or sack, have 2 spare sacks that came with the potatoes so i’ll try them in there, and some lettuce, tomatoes its too late really and i have enough for this year so will keep for next, if they’ll keep that long.
Anyone else send for them?

Do you know what? I'd got an email from them 2 weeks ago, telling me that I'd been unsuccessful!!! I was sooooo disappointed, I went straight off to a gc and bought some seeds!!!! Arrrrgh!

Anyone want any??? Lol!!!! Llew has just lost lots of her veggie and herb seedlings due to a very naughty wind, so I'll see if there's any left after that!

Have fun with those :-) I have 3 butternut squash on the go and Ive grown them from a Supermarket butternut squash, I am just curious, they are doing very well so far. The Avocado stone I planted is still alive too and about 10" tall now.

I filled in the on-line form before the end of the programme too, but so far nothing! I was concerned because it was not clear on the site if they were actually available to order on-line, there was a suggestion that they had to be ordered by post. I haven't received anything by post or email. Ah well, here's hoping.

Sewingkilla I applied online and got an email days later saying I was successful but the seeds haven't arrived yet so I'm still hoping they might come. I think that if they do come it might be too late to plant them this year. I'm glad you got yours.
