We have had our grandaughter today from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m, i am now no use to anyone LOL!! Had a busy day, made a Dora the Explorer mask and she coloured it in, ‘fished’ in the pond showed her a newt couldn’t find a frog they have left now and probably round the garden somewhere eating slugs i hope! We went to see my parents her great grandparents and then to the park,

After we had taken her home i had a walk round the garden such a lovely day put the pushchairs and toys away, Rian had watered all my plants for me so just checked she hadn’t missed any, she hadn’t!! The jacobs ladder is flowering and the Foam flower in the woodland part,
and i have just noticed the dreaded bindweed growing up this bit, just nipped out to rip its head off!!!!

The little phlox that is ground covering is flowering a pretty striped pink,

And the Viburnum is opening its flowers, i love the month of May its the best in my garden.

Such a sweetheart! I'm shattered too after being dragged around a plant sale, then a garden centre, Aldi and Sainsburys by my sister-in-law! I did get some new babies for the garden though :oD

Is that a tiarella in your 4th photo? Very pretty!

Oooh, all your plants look so pretty! I've ordered 3 viburnum tinus eve price plants, still waiting for those, grrr!

Looks like your gd had a lovely time!

Grrrrr to that bindweed! I had a rest today so that I can have a go at digging it out next to the fence in the morning, even if it's raining! Well done for nipping it out!
