signs of spring

Had a good look round the garden this morning, and there are a few signs of spring around amazing after the awful weather we have had. Nature never ceases to amaze me.

buds on the Cherry tree and the Sycamore and some Crocus’s showing their heads.
The Corkscrew hazel has its catkins on

the forsythia is in bud, and even the Perennial poppy looks healthy!

One of the laurels has suffered and will need cutting back i might take it out altogether not really thrilled with it, it’s never done really well or looked nice.
It was a lot warmer this morning there were midges in the garden walking through them going pffft, pffft lol!!
Rocky gets his stitches out on Friday and we can’t wait i hate putting the collar on him as he hates it, he goes all depressed when wearing it but its a necessity as he ‘worries’ the stitches if we don’t watch him.

What lovely signs of spring, SK. We have had rain since Sunday so I haven't ventured out in my garden since - far too boggy! Rocky does look sad but I'm glad he took his shoes off before he got into bed. He will be one happy boy on Friday :)
