Poor Rocky feeling sorry for himself

Rocky has had the operation this morning…you know that one….he is a bit lighter in one department shall i say!!!
Took him in at 8.30 this morning he was so excited to be in the car, thought we were going out to the big park i should think! Wrong Rocky sorry!!

Anyway he is home now picked him up at 2pm, feeling very sorry for himself, only garden excersise for a couple of days then only on the lead for 10 days, he’s had scrambled egg and rice about an hour after we got home, and was well ready for it although i’m not sure he was very impressed lol!!!

We have an elizabethan collar for him if he starts to ‘worry’ at the stitches but so far he’s not bothered, well he’s mainly just looking uncomfortable!

Never mind Rocky you’ll feel better tomorrow….honestly!

It is important, though, so you have done the right thing, Skilla. I do remember when we decided to get Henry 'done' on the vet's advice - it had the desired effect of stopping him roaming, and of course the risk of cancer in that area.

Poor Rocky - you'll soon feel fine again. Pats and strokes from me. :-)

Well done, SK - you have prevented unwanted pups and Rocky will feel as good as new in a day or two. He is a very handsome lad. Millie and I went to a dog Christmas party on Monday and a staffie there stole the show with his antics so I can imagine you have your hands full :)

Hasn't he got big! And Handsome with it.. i remember when my mam got her little mongrel "done" he ventured outside for his first wee and balanced himself on his two front legs with his two back legs in the air, reminded me of a teapot lol, it was so funny...You did the right thing SK calms them right down...

Thanks everyone, Rocky is feeling a lot more like himself today, the vet said keep him calm and only gentle excersise errrrr would someone tell me how to stop him going hell for leather down the garden then lol!! Only lead walks for 10 days too :( and he's had to have an elizabethan collar on because he won't stop licking the wound!! Not a happy puppy!!
