Lots of empty pots. [revamp part 5]

Well despite the rain this morning I made the decision to plant up the revamped conifer bed.
Over the last 6months I have been buying shrubs and plants to go with the many other plants I have moved and propagated. Today I bought more [see my last blog].

I placed plants 2 weeks ago and I have been moving them around ever since. Today I moved things again in light of the Iris, pansies and violas that ‘fell into my car boot’.

And lots and lots of empty pots. So satisfying.

There are still lots of gaps to fill but I need to wait and see what else I can find.

It's great to see how this is coming along, I'm sure I spotted a dwarf pine there, I LOVE dwarf pines and tend to buy way too many! You're as bad as me for moving things around, I'm always doing that:)

yes its Pinus mung 'ophir'. I had one 15yrs ago but it out grew its space in this bed, hence the revamp.
the only other conifer is a C pissifera 'Sungold'. other shrubs though such as Skimmia 'kew green', Leucothoe Rainbow, Osmanthus, Azalea 'red dragon' and another 3 tatty azaleas, Berbris 'Helmond pillar'.

Just look at how much propagating you can get done with those pots :)

This is really coming on!! I have a wonderful mental picture of your open car boot salivating at the thought of all those plants! Like mine groaning at the weight of my latest purchases from the GC! Those empty pots sure tell a story...
