Primulas

I was doing a bit of research on a new primula I bought today (primula maximowiczii) and came across a website that might interest other members.

Primula World

I’ve no connection and look I’ve now learned how to put on a link :)

I should add - for those who want to browse and don't want to be taken away from GOY, right click on the link and open in new window.

Well done on putting on a link! Not sure I'd know how to do that! Fabulous website, awesome photographs, I'll favourite that and have a look through, there's masses of info, never knew there were that many types!

I only just realised there are instructions to do this in the column to the right when you are writing a blog Louisa.

Yes, there is all sorts of information on there - so far I'm up to letter E. There are some lovely looking plants on there, if only!!!!

I have used this site for several years; it is an excellent reference for primulas. Pam did a lecture tour of Scotland in the spring of last year and attended some SRGC shows. The primula that you bought, Angie, is divine - just so long as you don't try to say it's name ;-)

It's a great website folks. I was mesmerized all night!!
Bulba - it is rather nice, isn't it!! Reading this site made me think about starting a little collection. I've already got a few primulas and adding to it wouldn't be difficult.
I keep calling it 'Malkovich' as in the actor!! It will do for now until I can get into the habit of using it's proper name!
