we live on a farm four miles from the village. my teenagers still love it here. we do have all the mod cons. electric etc. we have all become great friends for which i am eternaly grateful. we all love live music. my kids all sing and play instrements in our shed. we now have a log burner out there for the winter.
i moved from the city in a third floor flat with 4 kids under 5 and no garden. to here with one and half acres....i thought i'd bought a country.
my nursery is still open but at this time of year we only get the 'lesser spotted customer' lol

i know of people who weaved a casket from hedgerow willow for they're father and delivered him to the green buriel site on the back of a truck. everyone followed the truck to the woods and had a picnic afterwards....

another of my friends was delivered to the crematorium in the back of his campervan...

i.ve got loads of spiders. i encourage them as they eat the woodlice that are inturn eating my floorboards...lol
my kids were watching old videos of themselves recently. it was great to relive the memories. but the whole thing gave a false inpression.

it never rained when they were growing up.....
i was never stressed out or moody....
and niether were they.........

maybe i'll have to take a video of a rainy cold day when we are all bitching and arguing....lol

you were very lucky to carch this mole having a breather above ground.. i have loads of moles even though they cause stilght problems i do like them. i do wish they'ed stay off my lawn...its only a small part of my garden but it would be nice not to be covered in mole hills.

this dragon is in someone elses garden and is hand carved from pembrokeshire stone.(like those at stonehenge).
here in autumn-fall when everything dies back its nice to see all the little statues and odd things around my garden.
