we have been having a few sunny days lately…so i have been making the most of it…

i have a small nursery and now is a very busy time for us, getting things ready for the spring..so today i had to chop back a big hardy fuchsia taking over one of my sales areas..

but what to do with it now…..

out with my trusty shredder….

the path to my chickens is sooo muddy now and is dangerous to walk on….

well not any more. the shreddings will soak up the mud so now its safe for my mum to walk on…

then i started to line up my griselinia hedging plants. its one of our biggest sellers. we love it as it copes well with the salt winds, and loooks lovely all year.

time to check a few plants around the garden…..this is cuninghamia, its red in the winter and will shortly turn green again…i think it looks like a firework when ints red.

the dogwood was glowing in the sunshine..

im delighted that this palm is looking sooo good after the snow.

this is a pine tree i had for a present a few years ago. i has pine cones develping on it…….must be happy.

then to cap it all…THIS……

get ready GOYers the spring is on its way…:-))

The colour of the dogwood is fantastic - all the plants look like they are doing fantastic - I like the idea of using the shredded wood for the path, recycling at its best. Looking forward to spring here in chilly Lincs..:0)
