The birds are loving this wet weather...

We live on the side of a valley that rolls down to Freshwater west. At the bottom of the valley runs a ‘leet’ local word for small stream leading down to the sea. The valley is known as Castlemartin corse..hence the name of our house Corseside. It’s always a bit muddy down there..not that I venture down there much….but I do enjoy watching what’s going on down there.. And I do love taking lots of pictures of the coming and going!

I took these pics with daughter Rosie’s super duper camera while she was home for Christmas it has an amazing zoom…lots of other buttons and things but I tend not to touch them.

This is the view without the zoom… Our garden stops before you get to the sheds and the cattle are not ours.

I am no bird expert but I thing the majority of them are gulls ducks and geese and there was much fuss a while back when a Crain came to visit…the National Trust own most of the valley and have just started opening it up to the public after it was managed for many years by tenant farmers.

The other entertainment as we sit and await the stork who is now 5 days late!!!! Is an app superphoto someone posted on here a few days ago…sorry can’t remember who but thanks….it’s such fun

Even Reggie got in on the act.

and i just love what it did to our bonfire seat…

Off to take the tree and decorations down now..hope every one survived the festivities..

Roll on Spring.
Thanks for reading..:-)
