just thought id give an update….

so far we have 2 marrows. the smaller one is catching up with the big one. we are convinced even the smaller one will beat last years 50 pounder…

great niece Tali

these are all of the biggest one so far…

great niece Evee
everybody wants to pose with the marrow…lol

this is the smaller one but its catching up fast….

the pumpkin gave us a fright a week or so ago. it developed a crack through the blossom end. i looked it up on the internet and it didnt look good. everybody said it was doomed….so in a kill or cure way i used sillicon to re seal the end up and so far i think we are winning as it is definitely still growing…so fingers crossed…

this is a baby just starting to grow.

more male and female flowers coming too. so we may even get a few more babies….

they only go to the village show and maybe a neighbouring show…but my OH would just love to bring the tiny cup home from the Angle show again…two more weeks to grow. i’ll be glad when they have made it through…what with the slugs the wind and the field mice….
will keep u posted..:-)
