i live on the Wirral which is in the northwest of the country,we have a small south facing back garden with very poorsoil, albiet that we have over the years we have tried to improve the situation with top soil and improvers to no avail. most of the colour in the garden comes from the containers and hanging baskets . could do with some suggestions for the soil, or maybe a vigourous ground cover that is tolerant to poor soil conditions. thankyou.
