Great new plants San. Lovely to see the garden waking up for spring . I have been out in the garden for about half an hour it was just too cold made my nose run too much (what a wimp!) so I came in and sat looking out with a mug of tea and a new gardening magazine then I made a cake.glad you had a nice day :0)

You have done well Sandra, but while all of you have been busy in garden today, i've been busy taking carpet up in small bedroom, having new one fitted tomorrow.

7 Mar, 2010

thanx carol. its been lovely and sunny, are you doing the room up or just need new carpet

7 Mar, 2010

Lots of bargains there Sandra , I have often wondered why most plants have names that I can't seem to get my mouth round or spell! lol
Your Poppy is very much like mine in development are'nt they hardy saying they look so exotic, your Acquilegia is much further on than mine I can only just recognise it, I you could repot your new plants if they look over crowded but bring them indoors like you are doing till the frost as gone;0)

7 Mar, 2010

thanx carole i now have 12 differant plants for £10 so im pleased, yes just brought plants into garage for the night, i love the poppy dont you carole, like you say wouldnt think it would be so hardy,i never remember names, just keep tags its easier lol :o)

I'm sure they will be alright in those pots for a little while longer San.. .. .. you can always tip them out and look to see how potbound the roots are , if they are very potbound well then repot , but I would leave well alone so long as they look healthy .... :o)

7 Mar, 2010

thanx amy will do :o))
