Hi guys,
as some of you know my casper and that he brings me presents all year round, mice and birds which does upset me, but luckerly i manage to save many birds from his grasp.
Anyway i went out to work today as the rain started and casper flew past me inside, so i left him in till i arrived back for lunch.
my xmas tree has false snow and i have to hoover around it each day, anyway at lunchtime i went to do this and what did i find under the tree!!!!
well capser had got me an early present and much bigger than the normal ones and placed it under the tree for me

A rat you should have seen the size of it, cant tell off the pics, baz said he couldnt believe casper had put it under the tree….. and not bothered to wrap it first :o(
i sometimes wonder about Baz lol
what will your pets get you for xmas?

oh thats so funny, [not funny for the rat, and not nice to have dead rat either]
but you have to laugh at a cat that brings in a christmas present ~ and in such good time.
could have been worse if he had decided to put it inside your stocking/sock though!!!

lol sticki, i must say we did have a laugh about it, poor ratty :o))

Errrrrr what a lovely present sandra. Suppose he wanted to give you something for christmas in his own way, and a nicer present couldnt he have got.... LOL.... Just what you wanted wasnt it.. :)))))))) Very clever of him to put it under the tree :)

lol Holly, i do feel he knows the tree is special, he watched me decorate it and sits under there when the lights are on lol :o))

9 Dec, 2011

Just what you always wanted Sandra lol. I hope Blodyn doesn't bring me any presents. She never catches birds, and hasn't caught a shrew for a while now. I think she's gone too fat to pounce on them lol
As long as she stays happy and healthy that will be enough of a present for me :o)

bit frightened to put mine up, in case Kayleigh pulls it down lol...... she plays with everything.. :))

9 Dec, 2011

Ewwwwwwwwwww!

Holly casper paws the baubles but hasnt climbed it yet haha, im sure Kayleigh would be fine with it ;o))
lol pixi hahaha

Well not sure if to like lol - I would have shrieked :D poor rat - but cats doing you a good job in clearing them - it was a good job it did kill it and it didn't become free in the house :-O

9 Dec, 2011

Suki has brought mice in but never had a rat! I wouldnt like that! lol

9 Dec, 2011

my cat brings me little mice all the while, in summer she leaves them in front of my chair in the conservatory, and in winter under the kitchen table, her contribution to supper. He will have watched you put things under the tree, oh ratty can go there too.....

9 Dec, 2011

ugh! I know cats are lovely but my dogs didnt bring their friends in to play with.....

9 Dec, 2011

paul you are so right, i said to baz what if it had got away from him,,, oh my god yak ;o(
pixi i can cope with mice but i must admit i couldnt move this rat, baz had to do the deed :o(
lol Caz, i think your right, he knows the tree is for gifts :o(
haha pam, hope it doesnt happen again ;o(

Well, I suppose Casper should be congratulated for catching it, but I don't think I'd have been pleased with Megan if she'd placed it beneath the tree! ... Loved the comment from Baz ... lol! . . . . .

9 Dec, 2011

will you be hanging white sugar mice on the tree for casper??

9 Dec, 2011

Lol Lol Lol :o)))

9 Dec, 2011

Oh my goodness San...absolutely hilarious, love Baz's comment..what a wit! That is Sooooooo funny but also incredibly horrid! Makes you wonder where he caught it doesn't it? Yuck!

9 Dec, 2011

lol Terra, cant see it on mine but funny ;o))
karen we live near fields and farms so there are sure to be rats grrr, anyway rats are everywhere you would be surprised. but he must have brought it in when he ran in the door when i was going to work, i hope so anyway, surely it wasnt in here already :o((

9 Dec, 2011

You are so ungrateful!! a present's a present! lol :-))

9 Dec, 2011

No, sorry, didn't mean to worry you! They are never more than..what is it...3m away? What a thought eh? He will have brought it from a farm building somewhere no doubt.

9 Dec, 2011

Brings back memories of my stepdad Paul going around bashing them all on the head with a spade after he'd poisoned them...horrid. Mum and Paul have always had livestock and rats are an inevitable consequence.

9 Dec, 2011

lol sheila hahah im happy my cat loves me but some estee lauder would be nicer ;o))
karen my grandad had to do that if it was a hot summer, he lived next to an abattoirs when i was a kid, i use to hate it when the spade came out grrr :o(

9 Dec, 2011

now that would be a Top Cat indeed that managed to go shopping for estee lauder!!! although i would prefer chocolate myself.

9 Dec, 2011

I'm glad it was a dead rat rather than a dead bird! :)

9 Dec, 2011

sure would sticki lol :o)
me to karen :o)

9 Dec, 2011

There was a report out today<<yesterday about rats. They would go to assist their friends rather than take a reward..and after helping their friend out, they shared the reward with them......Makes you think?

10 Dec, 2011

Not so bad as we thought then, perhaps they are the good rats?

10 Dec, 2011

At least he new where to put your present, but sounds like he was a scrooge with the wrapping paper. Maybe he needed oposible(spelling?) thumbs, and he got the tape stuck to his fur and kept ripping the paper with his claws.

10 Dec, 2011

did they talk to the rats to find this out Pimpernel lol :o))
dont like them at all, cause mayhem and dirty yak.
lol Alex so funny :o))

10 Dec, 2011

Rather you than me Sandra I hate the retched things, since OH shouted at Stripes for bringing a mouse in, he now leaves them on the patio for me ......

10 Dec, 2011

lol Les, i tell casper every time "no more presents" but he just doesnt listen to mummy haha :o))

10 Dec, 2011

It would have been even worse if Casper had been clever enough to gift wrap it too Sandra. Just imagine holding it and squeezing and wondering "what on earth is it"......and then carefully unwrapping it......and then, screaming and dropping it at the same time!!! LOL
My daughter's cat left a dead rat halfway up the stairs the other night, imagine treading on that with your bare feet! :o((

10 Dec, 2011

LOl Lily

10 Dec, 2011

11 Dec, 2011

11 Dec, 2011

Well, I meant the rat, but to be honest Lily, both! ...

11 Dec, 2011

LOL Shirley, no wandering around in the dark with bare feet then!

11 Dec, 2011

be wearing my slippers to now Lily lol

12 Dec, 2011

Oh my goodness, what a lovely surprise, at least it was untouched we had an Abyssinian cat called Felix who used to catch all sorts of animals big and small, he caught a squirrel once and ate it!! quite disgusting, he then got hold of a large duck, thank god we got to him before he tucked in to that!!............so that is one rat less thanks to Caspar, Baz you have a great sense of humour!!.

15 Dec, 2011

lol Dotty, im glad casper doesnt start to eat what he catches, i would die haha, yes baz always has something witty to add, i bet you dreaded what would come in next Dotty :o))

15 Dec, 2011
