Hi Guys,
well its been a while since i did a blog so thought i would make an effort, since being off here and slowly back making an apearence im doing ok and back in the garden.
we have finally had some sunshine so its been a couple of weeks of weeding and tidying up after the bad weather.
unfortunatly because April was a hot month alot of my plants came early and finished early, lupins, delphiniums and some plants were ruined with the rain we have had here in the north west.
but after clearing up and making up my baskets and a couple of pots its not to bad.
i havent gone quite as mad with the baskets and pots this year, wanted to try and take it easy, what with my work and my art it all got a bit to much.
so today iv enjoyed the sunshine and pottering in my garden with casper helping as usual, well following me and attacking my fingers when i was weeding thinking it was play time haha
all in all a good day.
iv taken a few pics so you can see how it looks at the moment, iv also got some delphiniums seeding and looking promising, but they will hopfully be in the garden to flower next year.

so there it is, managed to keep it tidy through my spell of unwellness haha
hope your all enjoying your gardens to :o)) x
thought i would just finish off with my latest painting, a house on wrea green, a village not to far from me, hope you like it.

Welcome back after your mini break San. Your pots are looking so good, its surprising how the garden goes mad when you have time off, well the weeds anyway, hope you're feeling alot better now.

Hi Sandra and welcome back, glad you're feeling a bit better now. Your garden is looking very fresh and green, lovely pics especially of your hanging baskets. Glad you're still managing to do some painting, I love all the different shades of foliage in this one especially the red tree.

Glad to hear you're on the mend, glad you have been able to enjoy the garden and as always its looking fab. Also I'm pleased to hear that I am not the only one who gets attacked whilst weeding - I usually have to give up until they go to sleep.
I like your painting too - good to hear from you again.

so many comments thankyou all my friends, im so glad you all like the painting to and yes its acrylics dorjac, tricky at first as they dry so quick, so spray spray spray all the time with water on the pallet.
brian the baskets were cheap ones from wilkos i think a couple of years ago and i didnt want to do big ones this year so out these came from the shed lol, iv had to take one down today as we are having a porch on the front tomorrow, so the basket then will be placed just around the corner on side wall onece the porch is up.
its been lovely today and enjoyed being in the sun, all my pains go away when the sun shines, so making the most of it.
karen i would love to live in the house in my painting and its a lovely village to:o)
hywel im feeling good today, its the sunshine, hope your well to :o)
off to get the last of the sun now and water pots :o) x

A new porch...hope you are pleased with the finished job and can get your hanging basket rehung with no probs :)

Your painting with the cottage is wonderful....and your figure with the doggie looks good too. I noted elsewhwere you mention you've been experimenting with doing figures...this one looks good to me. Take care. x
