About me

We have 3 1/2 acres with a lovely view but suffer from deer. Fencing would be too expensive and ruin the view. I discovered that they disliked subtropical plants, e.g. cordylines, but after several years of growing them successfully a recent bout of heavy snow has killed or damaged them all.

Each year the deer get worse and eat new things. Many of the plants in my photos have died recently from deer or cold.I am in despair, yet I never had a garden which had so much potential!! For the last 2 years I gave up entirely but now I really want to try to solve the problem because otherwise it is such a waste!!
