Lemons in winter

Hello I thought I would mention the Menton Lemon Festival, which begins in mid February 2012, and lasts for a couple of weeks or so, in the town of that name, which, if you do no know it, has many beautiful gardens that you can visit. It is a joy.
Menton is the last town in France on the sea before you arrive in Italy.
Staying in nearby Nice (short train journey away from Menton) is cheaper in my experience.
It is favourite place and I think any gardener would love it – do see the Menton websites – see you there!

I think the best website is www.menton.fr or similar - lots of photos of the gardens on that site.
And I am sure they would make your four-legged friend very welcome, as well. (-:
