Cottage garden half mile from the sea in Bangor, Northern Ireland. Like much of Bangor we are built on a slow draining clay base. My wife is the creative force, I'm just the labour. Garden is surrounded by a 6ft privet hedge. Front of house is a perennial border while the back has patio, raised veg bed, damson trees, hen run, nasturtium wall surrounding the lawn with a 50 year old green house smack in the centre
