Hurricane Sandy

By regina

Well my friends from across the blog Hurricane Sandy is going to blast the Jersey Shore. Govenor Christie has called a state of emergency. Mandatory evacuation from Sandy Hook to Cape May. Tital surge 6-8 feet along low lying areas. Expecting power outages. This one is massive and makes Hurricane Irene 2011 a baby. Our Govenor assures us we are much better prepared. We have a generator, lots of food and adult beverages.

I’m waiting to hear from my sister Veronica if she will be evacuted from Highlands,NJ. Just a waiting game now.

High anxiety to say the least.

I've heard about that. I hope you'll be all right, and no damage done to your property.
It must be frightening :o(

Glad to hear you're well stocked up with 'adult beverages.' That should take the sting out of any damage. ;o) Hope everything will be OK. Take care.
