Baskets

Its been a busy summer with visitors and grandchildren and burglars and as a result very little time for GOY. I did want to do a quick tour of the garden in June when the dephiniums and lupins were at their best. But the laptop and camera were stolen. Still,l all well again now.
I wanted to show you the five hanging baskets which started life looking pretty similar, but which as always ended up looking quite different. I think my mother might have said they are a bit “over the top” – she might be right. I always find it interesting to see the colour combinations develop.

This is an example of some of my pots. Tom West has done well here.

Maybe before I finish I will show you one or two more pictures. Next week I am retiring from my part-time job, so I hope I will get more involved with you all this autumn!
Here is my back border – the foxgloves have gone now, but the colour scheme hasnt changed much.

Finally my best hosta looking good this year and some osteospermum.

!

Thanks for joining me in the garden!
