i have an orchid the white flowers have now diedcan i cut it down to grow next year or do i throw it out

norfolk, United Kingdom Gb

the name of the orchid is has two stems with 7 flowerheads which have died. can it be kept for another year thank you gerald

They will generally bloom again from the same stem that just finished if you cut it off just past the last bloom
on the stem (it's the 1st bloom to open) (there may be a slight bump in the stem too, when it's finished flowering. If you then keep it in a bright spot give it dilute fertiliser, it will often rebloom.
