I have a great crop of toms this year , but as they turn red something is eating them . I wonder if anyone can tell me what it is please . First they mark the skin and then burrow a whole and eat the contents of the tomato but leave the rest of skin intact.

Same here, slugs, the whole greenhouse was swarming with them this morning - even in the branches of my sweet peppers. They are now ex slugs.
