What is this growing from my Palm tree

I have a lovely Palm tree, which I am informed is Cordyline Australis, it is 16ft tall. It has just this last two weeks sprouted two new growths from the top branches, Can anyone identify them and advise me if and what to do anything with them?? .

i leave mine on since i noticed that long-tailed tits feed on it in the winter.

Once they go dry, later on in the year you can chop them off.
