how to remove a willow tree

neighbour wishes to get rid of a willow tree about 20 ft high what would be the best way to tackle this including removing the roots i have no knowledge of trees

I'd pay someone else, a tree surgeon, to come and remove it. See my previous blog on tree stumps for more info.
