acer with drying leaf tips

my acer which is red has drying almost dead leaf tips,just wanted to know the cause and a cure many thanks

I think also the the wind does this as they dont like to be too drafty either

This has answered a question of mine too, exactly the same problem with a small acer in a pot. Will move to a shady, sheltered spot! Thank you.

Usually caused by hot sun scorching the leaves, or drought. Acer's don't like to be in the hot midday sun, like a bit of shade.
