i live in turkey. i am having difficulty with rhubarb. it wilts and has a poor recovery. the soil is very limestone base. day temp often reaches 40 degrees c. any idea please?

Rhubabarb likes a rich, humusy soil, Uzumlu. Probably you need to find somewhere in the shade, dig a pit and put a good layer of manure in the bottom. Then fill it with a humus rich soil mixture. The temperature is probably a bit high for rhubarb but there is not much that you can do about it.
