hi again, ive been growing this plant, which i thought i planted last year, little miss natalie, i cant think of its proper name, but whilst out in the country i kept noticing them everywhere, so have i just been nursing a great big weed, thank you

Little Miss Natalie is an alstromeria and I dont think this is alstromeria.

It is the great Willow herb pull it our. If it was the Rosebay Willow herb I would say keep it, If you want to be sure being as you have nursed it for so long! the Great Willow herb has flat pink flowers but the Rosebay Willow herb has tall spikey flowers I have a little patch in my Garden that are in controle, The others get everywhere. If it is the Great W H Pull it out as soon as it flowers once you have identified it..

I too have been very craefully looking after things that are actually weeds, one of which looks like this and has now produced tiny pale pink flowers

It looks like rosebay willow herb although not a very distinct photo. If it is, no you did not plant it, pull it out. It is quite an attractive plant inthe wild, but not in your garden.
